Are these cat breeds allowed, or sold in Singapore?

I have a thing for cats that look like wild cats. So here's a list of the cat breeds that i am considering.
Savannah
Serval
Sokoke
Bengal
Toyger
Egyptian Mau
Ocicat
Ashera
Chausie
Does anyone know if ANY of the cat breeds i mentioned are allowed or sold in singapore?

Public Comments

1. Do you know how much money these cats are? Savannah's can be as much as $25,000. Bengals up to $700. Egyptian Mau's can be as much as $1,500.

Now that I've said that, I'll move on.

Savannah- Maybe/Probably

Serval- Maybe

Ocicat- Don't know

Egyptian Mau- Doubt it

Bengal- Maybe/Probably

Serval- Doubt it

I hope I helped a bit. I probably wasn't very helpful.

2. you forgot
Cheetohs
Jambis
Maine Snow Leopards
Safari

3. I don't know if any of those breeds are available, but if you contact the Singapore Cat Club they have a list of breeders and should be able to provide information to help you.

Anyone who offers to sell you an Ashera should be avoided at all costs. DNA evidence proves that the Ashera is really a Savannah. The man who claims to have created the Ashera breed is little more than a con-man. See the link below for further details.

4. The Mau and Ocicat (not sure of Sokoke) are the only ones that are NOT from any wild cat crosses in the background. So they would be allowed and found in Sinapore or at least you can bring them in if needed for importing.

I'm not sure of Singapore's rules for cats with wild cat in the background - you'd have to look up those rules.

5. There may be rules preventing the keeping of wildcat hybrids, so you should stick to the purely domestic breeds; Ocicat and Egyptian Mau.

6. Don't get an ashera. They are a scam.

Singapore requires a license for wild animals, which include nondomestic cats. So a serval would definitely need a license. As for the hybrids, it depends whether they consider hybrids domesticated cats or not. They do not mention them.

Here is a webpage listing Singapore's wild animal law.
