Who here knows of any online Taiwanese cat forums where I can get info on cat breeds? Please help me out?
Hello. How are you? I'm doing research on cat breeds in Taiwan. Does anyone know of any Taiwanese cat sites where I can go to to discuss cat breed info and get cat breed info? I've tried finding such sites on the web but can't find any. Please help me out-I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

1. This question has been posted more than once, and the answer remains the same. Try establishing contact with Mickey Su Catteries. Other than that, you'd probably have to search online using Chinese. Oh.. and "Hello Kitty", although very popular here, is nevertheless NOT a recognized purebred feline. hahaha2. here is some info on importing cats

You might have much better luck asking in Chinese Yahoo answers. Most foreigners here don't have pets, and those that do, usually are saving street animals from death, and aren't too concerned about pure-blood or other strange fetishes that breeders love to discuss. Most taiwanese who are interested in this don't speak English terribly fluently. (in my opinion.) I am sure they are great human beings, however.
Or just try in Yahoo answers pets forum. You probably wont find many other taiwanese specific pets, but you probably can dig up the information on the special breeds you need to be aware of.
Your next best bet is to try and find an animal control office and check out their selection of captures and vulture yourself there until you find someone has cast away the breed you want. If you can handle that. Yick. That would be too depressing for me.
