Can't Decide What To Do About Cat Adoption Form?

I'm looking into adopting a rescue kitten but need to email to get an application for the kitten. My parents are undecided, so should I ask for the app?
By the way, I'm 13. I want to get it as a collabrative my and my mom's birthday
Oh,we already have a cat and I'm asking if I sould ask for the application not apply

1. If your mom is undecided about having a cat, I wouldnt get one because a cat is a big responsiblity and its not fair to the cat to bring him into a half-hearted household.

Edit: Oh OK. Then go ahead and get the application. But don't use it unless your parents say its alright. Good Luck & Best Wishes!

2. While I support your intentions, I'm sorry to say that shelters and rescues won't allow you to adopt without your parents signing the form - you need to be 18. So you really need to get at least one of your parents to sign the form. Still there is no harm getting an application for them to fill out, and no harm in printing pictures of the kittens you've got your eye on so that you can show them to your parents ....
