Cat adoption?

On march 29th the human society in my area is having a microchip fare and an adoption day. I was going to bring my cat over there to get microchipped and to pick out a new friend. Should I get another female or a male? I also would like to find one who will ruff her up.... my cat is to prissy and mean. She needs to learn that there are bigger meaner things out there.... so any specific breed or age?

1. If that was me i would prefer a male. Males are typical pets that most people don't buy. Your Cat might learn a lesson since male pets are sub born.

2. Either male or female, if your cat is prissy and mean you are going to have to keep an eye on that new kitty so it doesn't get hurt. I brought a female cat home to my male cat and they just about killed each other. I had to find a good home for the new cat. Since then I adopted a female kitten and she and my male cat get along great. She put some spunk back into my older male's life. Whichever you choose, just keep your eye on them for a while to make sure they are going to get along and not hurt each other.

3. I vote male. But dont let your cat learn the hard way! Ouch! Would you like to learn like that? Also, good job on getting the cats microchipped. I salute you!

4. LoL either gender could be tough! I had two siblings for a moment where the sister was the boss and the brother was the biggest softy!!! Ask for someone to try and help you find a good match at the event! :)
