What Are Some Popular Cat Breeds in Puerto Rico?
Just wondering. I know a lot of the cats are mixed breeds, but is any one breed popular?

1. Domestic short hair is the most popular in any country.2. Given the temperature any of the short haired varieties fare well and are more popular. Interestingly one of the hybrid cats (Savannahs) has South American blood lines. A Safari is a hybrid created by breeding a wild, native to South America Geoffroy's cat to a domestic cat. The first cross is referred to as an F1 (50% Geoffroy, 50% domestic). Given it Sth American ancestry I understand that there are breeders throughout Sth America. The Savannahs including the Safari are very striking in appearance as they are a cross between a wild cat and a domestic breed. For those who can afford them they would be a popular cat.
Unfortunately Peuto Rico has a very high number or feral cats, and cat colonies. I'd suggest the best cat to have in Peuto Rico would be one saved from one of the refuges
