Do cat adoption centers normally tell you if they decline your application forms?

1. I would think so. If you don't hear back after a week I would call and ask.The shelters in my area review the application while you wait.
2. Some do, some don't. Some are nice enough to call you and tell you why you're application has been denied but some just ignore you instead. When you fill out the application form ask them how long they take to get in touch with you if your application has been denied. If they don't call you by that time, give them a call and ask about the status of your application.
