My cat is getting aggressive torwards another one of my cats?
My cat Tigger has been hissing and clawing at my other cat Bonnie.They are both fixed.Why is this? It's been going on for the last couple weeks.

1. Having seen this in our cats it happened as one of the cats got older. Just like humans they have aches and pains and get irritable.Talk to your vet - could be a bad tooth or something.
2. Our cats do this periodically. I suppose rathar like a brother sister spat or something. They eventually stop.
3. There can only be one alpha cat in the house. You may be seeing a reordering of who is the alpha one. Generally, this will have hissing and growling, but no blood will be drawn.
If this continues, see which cat is at a disadvantage, and see if there is a medical problem with that cat. An ill cat can be recognized by the other cat and is an opportunity to dominate.
