Why does my cat paw at pictures?
There is probably a very simple and obvious answer to this, but my cat sits in front of this one particular picture frame I have and he paws at the picture consistently, its quite funny actually. I was just wondering why he is so interested in this one picture? Can he even see the picture to begin with?

1. She might hate the one on the picture.She might like it if its a pcture of food.
2. cats will paw at pictures because some cats think it's an open window, other cats will paw because the might see another cat or string to play with. my cat looks up at the pictures on our wall :)

3. There are a few reasons why your cat may be putting his paws up on the picture.
Your cat may also be doing this to mark his territory by leaving his scent on the picture.
Cats have sweat glands on the underside of their paws. They use the glands to leave their scent on things in order to mark their territory. When your cat rubs his paws on something, he is probably sending the message to other cats that the object belongs to him. It is also possible that your cat puts its paws up on the picture to get closer to you and to get your attention. If you cat meows before, during, or after putting his paws on the picture, he is probably trying to communicate with you. Your cat probably wants you to pick him up or give him affection.

4. Your kitty wants to play! He can see a reflection, probably.
Make, buy or show him a toy if he looks bored of if it bothers you.
