Which Canon DSLR should I buy to take pictures of my cat?

That's honestly what I take the most pictures of. My cat eating, sleeping and playing. Point and shoots are too slow to get good cat pictures.

1. 1. You don't need a dSLR for that. Buy a super-zoom.

2. If you really feel it nescessary, you don't need any particular brand, buy the cheapest that you like the feel of. They are all excellent.

2. Rod, I own and recommend the Canon Rebel XS because of its superb build and photos. It's also very easy to learn and use.

You will, I'm positive, want to use your camera for other jobs as well and you'll find this camera versatile and very functional.

By the way it can now be had, at this site, for about $100 under retail.

4. Any Canon DSLR can take good picture but I would suggest Canon Rebel XS, the cheapest one but provide great image quality
